Happy Earth Day!

Yesterday was Earth Day (at least here in the US)… Few among us realize that Earth Day is celebrated on different days around the globe. In any case, I received several emails and promotions from companies and vendors with whom I do business, with a subject line or greeting which basically amounted to the equivalent of “Happy Earth Day!”

Come on now people…let’s get real…and serious. “Happy?” It’s not like this is the earth’s birthday, is it? Earth Day is simply an event to promote awareness of what we are doing to our planet. Perhaps an opportunity to remember and learn about the eco-friendly choices we can make in our daily lives. What do you think? How did you “celebrate?” Let us know…
